"The Montreal Canadiens finally managed to put an end to their 8-game losing streak with a 4-2 win against the New York Islanders.Even with a win, the Habs' still look like they need to find a solution on the left side of their blueline and lots of fans and analysts are calling for general manager Marc Bergevin to make a move. Bergevin may have found his target according to Martin McGuire as he claims that the Canadiens are in heavy discussions with the Philadelphia Flyers in regards to Shayne Gostisbehere.Gostisbehere name has been circulating in trade rumours over the last couple of years especially in Montreal, and on the French side of things, McGuire is known to be one of the most credible insiders in Montreal. The 26-year-old lefty is known for his offensive game including a 65-point season in 78 games in 2017-2018, but he has never been able to repeat it and has struggled defensively which has resulted in being a healthy scratch under new Flyers head coach Alain Vigneault. Some say he would be a perfect partner for Shea Weber and look great on the Habs' power play, however it could also be argued that Weber would spend most of time covering up Gostisbehere's mistakes. We'll see if McGuire's information holds any truth over the next couple of hours. Do you think this story holds any weight considering the Flyers are rolling and it would be a weird time to make a trade?
Selon Martin McGuire, Shayne Gostisbehere deviendrait un Canadien prochainement, qu'en pensez-vous? @919sports — Georges Laraque (@GeorgesLaraque) December 4, 2019
