"The Philadelphia Flyers are barely geared up for pre-season and are already dealing with injury issues. We learned last week that forward Nolan Patrick isn't cleared for training camp yet and is currently dealing with an injury. Now another top young prospect finds himself on the injury list. The Flyers revealed this morning that fellow 2017 first round pick Morgan Frost is also injured. No other details were revealed but he's labelled as ""day to day"" and won't be participating in tonight's preseason game against the New York Islanders. There's lots of speculation that Frost could make the NHL this year and skip the AHL, however it won't help his case if he misses most of the pre-season.
#Flyers list Morgan Frost as day-to-day with a "lower-body injury." He's not in the lineup tonight for the first preseason game. — Dave Isaac (@davegisaac) September 16, 2019
