It didn't take very long and it looks like Paul Holmgren is already making moves. The Philadelphia Flyers returned to practice after their disappointing loss to the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday night and there's some faces missing. To start, speculation is that assistant coach Gord Murphy has been fired, he wasn't on the ice at practice multiple reports are that he's been let go. There was three goalies on the ice and one was missing.Yet to be confirmed but it looks like Calvin Pickard is the odd man out and has been placed on waivers. Pickard wasn't the only one missing from practice as both Tyrell Golbourne and James van Riemsdyk were missing. For JVR it's likely and hopefully just a maintenance day, for Golbourne he's likely been sent back to the AHL.
