"What a year it's been for Philadelphia Flyers forward Oskar Lindblom. Just around a year ago the forward found out that he was dealing with a rare form of bone cancer. At the time he had 11 goals in a tie for the team lead with Travis Konecny and instead of playing another game he would begin chemo treatments. Lindblom fought hard for a year, so hard that he was able to suit for the Flyers last two playoff games in September. Yesterday, Oskar's girlfriend, Alma Lindqvist, share on Instagram that Oskar is now 100% cancer free. "What a year! 369 days ago we found out that Oskar had cancer, and today we got to know that the scans are clear after his second checkup. popping champagne*!!! We can't wait to see the 24 year old around camp for the NHL season which is expected to start on January 13.
