The Philadelphia Flyers were dealt some tough news on a couple of fronts on Monday. To start, the Flyers confirmed that Travis Sanheim is on the COVID list and will likely been gone for awhile. Doubling down on the COVID news, the Flyers found out that both games against the New Jersey Devils have been postponed at the moment. The Flyers were set to play the Devils on Thursday and Saturday but Jersey is currently dealing with a COVID outbreak in the locker room and won't be playing anytime soon. That means if there's no further outbreaks with the Flyers or other teams around the league Philly will only play Washington tomorrow and the New York Rangers on Sunday before having four days off next week to face the Rangers again on Thursday. Head coach Alain Vigneualt confirmed to the media on Monday that aside from Sanheim, his team is safe for the moment and no other positive tests have been revealed. More details to come.
