The Flyers take on the Bruins at TD Garden tonight and they have struggled against the Bruins for more than a decade this time of year, repeatedly losing at the Garden which has put them in tough places in the playoff rankings.

On eight occasions, the Flyers have lost crucial games against the Bruins since 2008 in the second half of the season giving them a rough placement in the standings.

March 15, 2008: Bruins 3, Flyers 2 (OT)
January 13, 2011: Bruins 7, Flyers 5
March 17, 2012: Bruins 3, Flyers 2 (Overtime shootout loss)
March 9, 2013: Bruins 3, Flyers 0
April 5, 2014: Bruins 5, Flyers 2
March 7, 2015: Bruins 3, Flyers 2 (OT)
March 11, 2017: Bruins 2, Flyers 1
March 8, 2018: Bruins 3, Flyers 2

Although they did have the incredible comeback in the 2010 playoffs down 3-0 in the series, this curse might be the tradeoff for that glorious series.

Gulp. Not the optimum venue for the Flyers needing points down the stretch.

Hopefully the Flyers are able to snap the curse tonight as they take on the Bruins at 7 p.m.
