"The Philadelphia Flyers kept it rolling along last night with another win as they defeated the Vancouver Canucks 2-1. The win was the Flyers 8th in a row as they try and claw themselves back into the playoffs. Rookie sensation Carter Hart has been between the pipes for seven of those wins and is climbing the Flyers franchise record books. Hart currently sits tied for third for longest personal win streaks by a Flyers rookie goalie with Pete Peeters who also won seven in a row in 1979-80. Bob Froese sits second on the list with eight games in a row in 1982-83 while Pelle Lindbergh actually won nine in a row during the same season. The Flyers next three games are at home starting with the LA Kings on Thursday, Anaheim Ducks Saturday and Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday.
