"The Philadelphia Flyers won their opener by shutting out the New Jersey Devils last night and now sit at 2-0-0 on the season. In the process, Flyers goalie Carter Hart got his first career shutout as he started the first home opener of his young career. Not only was it his first career shutout, but it was also a new franchise record.Hart is now the youngest goalie in franchise history to record a shutout at 21 years and 57 days. The previous record holder is Dominic Roussel who shut the door on Calgary back in February 27,1992 at the age of 22 year and five days. With Alain Vigneault as head coach and a revamped blue line, it's lining up like it could be a pretty solid year for the Flyers' young goalie.
