"The Philadelphia Flyers lost yet another game and the downward spiral continues. We heard Travis Konecny call the team out last week, we heard head coach Alain Vigneault pretty much admit he doesn't have the solutions and now it's the time for the captain to speak up. The Flyers showed a bit more fight last night after going down 4-1 but eventually lost the game 4-3 to the lowly New Jersey Devils. Claude Giroux looked himself in the mirror and called himself out. "We have a lot of confidence in our group. I still think we're going to make the playoffs. We need to be a little more consistent in our game, and it starts with me. You can't play one good game and then one bad game and keep going like that."
While Giroux has 7 points in his last 9 games, the team isn't registering the wins. What do you think of Giroux's comments?
