Flyers announce Major Update on Defenseman's Contract Extension

There has been a lot of talk surrounding Nick Seeler and Sean Walker lately. It was announced yesterday that the team only plans on signing one of them and will be trading the other.
Insider Darren Dreger reports that the Flyers and Seeler continue to make progress regarding an extension and there will likely be an agreement.
The Flyers continue to make progress on a contract extension with veteran defenceman Nick Seeler.

Reports are indicating that the Flyers and Seeler are negotiating a 2-3 year deal with an AAV of 3.33M. This could be announced as early as today as sides are reportedly very close in finalizing the deal.
With this current information, it seems as though Seeler will be staying and Walker will be on his way out but we will only for sure know in the coming days.
