Flyers Coach John Tortorella Comments on Deslauriers Fight
John Tortorella has been in the league for close to two decades as a head coach. He is a coach that is loud, making his opinion heard by his team and the media. In recent years, as the game has been changing and getting more skilled, Tortorella has been vocal about the fact that he is not a fan of all these extravagant moves and prefers old school hockey.
In last nights game, Deslauriers took on the Rangers Matt Rempe in what may be the fight of the year as the two players traded punches for close to a minute straight.
To no surprise, Flyers Head Coach had nothing but good things to say about Deslauriers and the fight.
"Really important guy for us, D-Lo. That was a good Ole' fashioned hockey fight there."
