The Philadelphia Flyers sit tied for last place in the Eastern Conference with the Ottawa Senators at 35 points. It's hard for Flyers general manager Chuck Fletcher to make a move because the team still isn't 100% healthy. Carter Hart has done a great job for the Flyers since being called up, however Brian Elliott will likely get the #1 job back when he returns. The Flyers issued updates on their injured players including Elliott who they said could return to action in the next 10-14 days. Another goalie, Anthony Stolarz who missed almost all of last season should be back in action within a couple of days. On the blueline Andrew MacDonald won't be back skating until after the weekend while prospect Samuel Morin is working his way back to practice and could be ready to play in February. Up front, Nolan Patrick shouldn't be out much longer and could play next week while Corban Knight is ahead of his schedule and will be re-evaluated next month.
