The Flyers are continuing to evaluate their team as the March 8th trade deadline approaches. General manager Danny Briere along with head coach John Tortorella and their staff are looking at potential trade options for players who may not return next season and are on expiring deals.

This time of year is also a chance to look over potential AHL callups who could continue to give good impressions for a potential roster spot next year or be a trade piece for another franchise.
This debate is going on with the Flyers as they are trying to showcase Marc Staal along with looking at Flyers forward Olle Lycksell.
There's a strong sense that's Staal will not garner much return as he has not performed as hoped this season.
Lycksell, was drafted by the Flyers in 2017 in the sixth round 168th overall. The 24-year-old has been in and out of the Flyers lineup for the past two seasons and I would expect management would like to understand what they have with him as they could potentially craft him in a trade.
Many questions remain on what the Flyers will do at the deadline whether they'll stand pat or be a buyer or seller or both.
