Flyers stand up for teammate at the deadline

There was a lot of speculation around the deadline regarding forward Scott Laughton.
It was announced a few days ago that Laughton's teammates went to see management and told them that they need Laughton to stay around since he is a huge part of the team.
"Makes me pretty emotional, to be honest. To have that type of support from the room is amazing." Scott Laughton's teammates went to management to make sure their emotional heartbeat stayed with the Flyers past the NHL Trade Deadline.
Laughton mentioned how this made him emotional and returned the favor by standing up for them multiple times in scrums against the Bruins. These are part of the reason Laughton is such a loved teammate, there is also the fact that he is a greatly skilled player to play with.
