The Philadelphia Flyers have begun their exit interviews and a couple of players touched on one specific subject. Losing Matt Niskanen to retirement during the offseason. Captain Claude Giroux said it took a toll on the team and disturbed their play. While not an excuse for the team's overall play he said not having Niskanen left the team not playing enough in the offensive zone. "As a team, we didn't react the right way (without Niskanen).""I want to win. I'm pretty pissed off at the position we're in."The captain said he fully expects the team to bounce back next year. "A lot of guys are not happy with the season. We're going to come out strong next year."
What do you think of Giroux's comments?
