"When it comes to injuries and the Philadelphia Flyers, it's been a rough summer. It starts with young defensive prospect Samuel Morin who tore his ACL and won't be with the team to start the year. Follow that up with Sean Couturier who re-aggravated his knee during the summer time, that same knee he hurt during the playoffs after a collision at practice with Radko Gudas, then over the weekend we learned that Andrew MacDonald will be out 6 weeks with a lower body injury, sprinkle that with about the 75 injuries Wayne Simmonds is recovering from, it's been a rough summer. We finally got some good news. Couturier skated on Monday morning for the first time after re-injuring his knee and told reporters that he had no ""ill effects"" according to Sam Carchidi of the Inquirer. He also stated he's feeling ""really good"" when it comes to his recuperation.
Hopefully that means he's ready to go come training camp!
Coots skated today for first time since he re-injured his knee and said he had no ill effects. #Flyers
