"While most members of the Philadelphia Flyers used the bye week to rest up and recuperate after the first half of the season, defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere got sick.
When the Flyers got back to the practice ice on Friday the talented young defenseman was still at home in bed with an illness. Gositisbehere was also held out of Saturday's 5-3 win over the New Jersey Devils.
After getting Sunday off, the Flyers were back on the practice ice today and number 53 was on the ice as a full participant.
We have not been updated by head coach Dave Hakstol yet, but it sure looks like Shayne Gostisbehere will be back on the blue line when the Flyers travel to New York to take on the Rangers at Madison Square Garden Tuesday night.
Shayne Gostisbehere returns to practice today after missing Friday and Saturday with an illness.
