It was an extremely tough loss considering the Carolina Hurricanes won while the Montreal Canadiens also won their game as they try and sneak into the playoffs. Despite the embarrassing performance last night, there was a bright spot to take away from it. Defenseman Ivan Provorov became just the second defenseman in NHL history to play in 300 straight games with the same team to start his career.
