The Flyers newest addition, Ivan Fedotov made his first NHL start last night in a tough 4-2 loss to the Sabres in Philadelphia.
Head coach John Tortorella commented on Fedotov's first start saying that he did not get many chances and it was a hard game but that they need him to make a few more saves. Torts added that the Flyers need to capitalize on their chances more if they want to win games.

«But it's both I think we need another save, but we need to capitalize on our chances and that's the difference in the game.»
Fedotovfaced 19 shots in his first start, making 15 saves which gave him a .789 save percentage last night.
The Flyers are desperately holding on to the last wild card spot as they sit 1 point ahead of the Capitals with one more game played.
