Flyers Head coach John Tortorella met with the press after the Flyers have won their second game in a row 1-0 against the New Jersey Devils after snapping their eight-game losing streak. He spoke highly of his team and praised their effort as the Flyers continue their must win games which stretches to the final game on Tuesday.

Torts spoke about many aspects of the game that he liked, and he also stated to the press that these games are helping his team learn on how to perform during these must win games. With the team riding high just a month ago and nestled in a playoff spot, the wheels fell off quickly and the team spiraled out of control with their losing streak.
"It's nowhere near a playoff atmosphere, but it's our step that we're taking to playing these type of games at the end of the year to get in," Tortorella said. "We're close, so I think it's a great process for us. I don't know what's going to happen, but we're just going to go out and play hard and see where we are at the end Tuesday night."
It's safe to say the Flyers have been playing at a high level all year and the season may be catching up to them, but for the time being Flyers fans can enjoy the fact that they're still alive and are currently in the second wild card spot. The task is daunting and they will need help from other teams but there's still a chance.
