"It's been a story that's been dragging on for the last couple of months and there's finally some closure. Former Flyers' forward Jori Lehtera was convicted in a Finnish court Wednesday. The court labelled him as guilty of buying cocaine and given a four month suspended prison sentence. His attorney released a statement. "Mr. Lehtera has been convicted without any evidence,"" Sotamaa said. ""The outcome of the case seems to have depended more on the pre-trial publicity than anything that took place in the courtroom. Mr. Lehtera's conviction is utterly baseless and against the constitutional rule of law."
Lehtera has stated that he's against drug use and has actually paid for one of the other defendants drug rehab.
