Tuesday night was an action-packed night around the NHL, from Connor McDavid notching six assists, Brad Marchand recording his 1,000 career NHL game, to a Nikita Kucherov showing he can still score, hockey fans had plenty of entertainment on Tuesday. Tuesday night also saw a former Philadelphia Flyers legend make a highlight-reel goal.

Despite his age, former Flyers captain and future Flyers Hall-of-Fame member Claude Giroux netted an impressive shorthanded goal, as he helped lead the Ottawa Senators to a 6-3 victory against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
While Columbus was on the powerplay, the Senators took advantage of a turnover and quickly pushed the puck down the ice. As the puck found its way to Giroux, the Flyers legend turned back the clock and ripped a laser into the back of the net, making it look easy.
No matter how old Giroux is, he is still finding ways to produce as he is currently second on his team in total points. Through 49 games, Giroux has recorded 46 points on 29 goals and 17 assists.
If Giroux continues to play at a consistent pace, could he be a veteran target for contending teams at the upcoming trade deadline? Giroux's name has been floated around quietly, but so far nothing has come of the talks as of late.
