The Philadelphia Flyers turned in another lackluster performance against a Columbus Blue Jackets teams playing only half their roster and an AHL goalie. They now have a 7-game losing streak and have fallen out of a playoff spot with tough road to climb back in, needing to jump multiple teams with games in hand on the Flyers and who hold toe breakers over them.
Head Coach John Tortorella, usually very opinionated on the mic in his post-game pressers, seemed at a loss for words.
Torts commented on how his team is playing hard, and getting good chances, but is not executing in order to capitalize on the chances and turn them into goals. They can't worry about this game; they now have to go on the road for a few more games and try to get some points.
