With the Stanley Cup finals just a couple of days away, we're getting closer to the NHL Draft and free agency. Changes are expected to happen regarding the Flyers roster, while nothing drastic is expected to be removed from the roster, the Flyers have cap space and could be a major player over the summer. Flyers general manager Ron Hextall mentioned during the end of season presser that he would like to address the blueline and add some defensive help, so we can expect something to happen. BroadStreetHockey came up with a couple of possible targets for Hextall. Lets check them out:John Carlson Washington Capitals: If Carlson actually hits free agency, there will be a frenzy for him and the Flyers luckily have the money to be in the running. Calvin de Haan & Thomas Hickey New York Islanders: The Islanders will have two blueliners under 30 years old hit the free agency market this summer, they'll likely only be able to keep one.Andrej Sustr Tampa Bay Lightning: A 6'7" 27 year old, he's not flashy at his size, but he's safe and reliable.Mike Green Detroit Red Wings: Green was supposed to be moved at the trade deadline, but a neck injury put a stop to that. He likely won't get a long term deal out of somebody, but could still have another reliable 2-3 years left in him. Ian Cole Columbus Blue Jackets: Third pairing defenseman who shoots left, he's another safe reliable guy who will hit around 20 points as a 5th or 6th guy. Christian Folin Los Angeles Kings: The lesser known name on the list, Folin has some puck moving ability and can skate. Unfortunately he's been held back by injuries throughout his career and would likely just be a roll of the dice. Would you like to see any of these guys on the Flyers next year?
