The Philadelphia Flyers and general manager Chuck Fletcher made headlines this past weekend when they pulled off a blockbuster three way deal. Fletcher landed defenseman Ryan Ellis from the Nashville Predators for Nolan Patrick and Philippe Myers and the Preds then flipped Patrick to the Vegas Golden Knights for Cody Glass. It sounds like Fletcher is about to jump into another blockbuster three way. According to Anthony SanFilippo, the Flyers are closing in on a three way deal with the St. Louis Blues and Seattle Kraken. In the deal that would involve an expansion draft selection, the Flyers would end up with Vladimir Tarasenko while losing Jakub Voracek and Robert Haag.
The Kraken will select Vladimir Tarasenko from the St. Louis Blues in the expansion draft.
Seattle will then trade Tarasenko to the Flyers for Voracek and a draft pick. I'm told it's not the first rounder either. So, let's say a 2 or a 3.
The Kraken then select Robert Hägg from the Flyers in the expansion draft.
Would you like to see the trade happen?Something is brewing with the Flyers and it's going to be a very interesting story to follow over the next 48hrs.
