The free agency interview period has opened up across the league and teams are allowed to speak with pending free agents. Philadelphia Flyers general manager Chuck Fletcher has already started giving his defense a facelift along with some depth and it seems he might not be finished yet. After trading Radko Gudas away for Matt Niskanen, Fletcher has also added Justin Braun and signed Travis Sanheim to an extension and it seems he's looking for even more veteran help.According to The Athletic's Michael Russo, the Flyers have reached out to a 33 year old defenseman.
Russo reports that the Flyers are among a handful of teams that have reached out to pending free agent Nate Prosser about a possible one way or two way deal. "Hearing Philadelphia, St. Louis, Montreal, Calgary and Anaheim, among others, reached out to Nate Prosser on a variety of one-way and two-way deals."Not the name many were likely hoping for but a two way contract wouldn't hurt the team at all.
