Sam Ersson Saves the Flyers

The Philadelphia Flyers keep surprising everyone. Their latest feat was a 2-1 defeat of the Florida Panthers at home. The Panthers have not lost in 6 game at home and the last time they did, was also a 2-1 loss to the boys from Philly.

Backup turned starting goalie Sam Ersson has been excellent and made this insane save to keep the Flyers in the game.


Ersson finished the game with 22 saves on 23 shots to continue his run of excellent play. If he continues to play like this, then the Flyers can hang with everyone, as they proved tonight against a team who is considered as the best in the league.
