Scott Gordon Announces Starting Goalie For Stadium Series.

"The Philadelphia Flyers are preparing for their Stadium Series game which takes place on Saturday night. It's a big game for the Flyers as they'll take on the Pittsburgh Penguins and both are fighting for a playoff spot. After a nice run, the Flyers hit a wall this week with a 5-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning and were a complete no show in a 5-1 loss to the Montreal Canadiens. Rookie sensation Carter Hart was pulled early from both games and backup Brian Elliott took over the work load. On Friday Flyers head coach Scott Gordon announced the starting goalie for Saturday's game and it won't make some fans happy. Gordon has decided to give Elliott the start Saturday in the Stadium Series game. Elliott saved 22 of 23 shots in relief of Hart against the Lightning and then 29 of 31 shots against the Montreal Canadiens.
