The Philadelphia Flyers will be playing the Washington Capitals in their second round robin game at 4PM EST on Thursday. They'll be without forward Michael Raffl who's likely to miss a bit of time due to injury and head coach Alain Vigneault has already confirmed that Joel Farabee will jump into the lineup. AV said that Farabee won't necessarily replace Raffl on the fourth line and that he might shuffle his lineup up a bit. First line center Sean Couturier is excited to see Farabee jump into the lineup and believes he'll bring something great to the lineup. "Especially coming back from the quarantine there, (Farabee) looks really good," Couturier said. "He looks like he took a step forward, just the way he battles and he's involved with the puck and without the puck. He's had a good year … it's tough your rookie year, you have some ups and some downs, and I think the important thing is to grow from it, learn from it. He came back prepared and he's looked good. We're excited to have him in the lineup, and I think we're counting on him to make a difference down the road."
The 20 year old registered 8 goals and 13 assists during his rookie season with the Flyers and added 3 goals and an assist during a brief five game stint with the Phantoms in the AHL. Are you excited to see Farabee jump into the lineup?
