"The Philadelphia Flyers were sent home in a tough loss yesterday as they were shut out in Game 7 by the New York Islanders. As was the story for most of the playoffs, the Flyers just couldn't get anything going offensively and defensively they just couldn't contain forwards bigger or faster than them. After the game, Flyers' forward Sean Couturier revealed that he was dealing with a pretty brutal injury. Couturier revealed he was playing through a sprained MCL in his knee after a collision with Matt Barzal in Game 5. He missed Game 6 but toughed it out for Game 7. ""Couldn't go last game, Game 6, but I thought I could help the team tonight and give it a go,"" Couturier said.
Once again, Couturier proves he's a true warrior and hopefully part of the Flyers for many years to come.
