"Shayne Gostisbehere may not have won the 2016 Calder Trophy for being the NHL's top rookie, but he has something the two guys who finished ahead of him, Artemi Panarin and Connor McDavid, may never get.
When the 2018 Guinness Book of World Records was released earlier this month, the young Flyers blue liner got his name in it. Indeed, Gostisbehere's 15-game point streak, the longest streak for an NHL rookie, was included with some other records like tallest dog, heaviest onion, oldest criminal gang and most socks on one foot in a minute.
Gostiisbehere's run to the record book began with a goal against the Toronto Maple Leafs on January 19, 2016 and ended with another goal against the Leafs on February 20, 2016. In between those two dates, Gostisbehere had five goals and 13 assists during his record breaking 15-game point streak.
Way to go, Ghost Bear!
