The 2017-18 NHL season is over and while we look forward to the future, let's take a moment to reflect on what happened in the playoffs. While the Philadelphia Flyers didn't make it out of the first round losing in six games to the Pittsburgh Penguins, one Flyer definitely turned heads during the first round.Despite playing the final couple of games of the series with a torn MCL, forward Sean Couturier put up an absolutely incredible performance. The 25 year old Couturier put up five points which included a hat trick in Game 6 and his stats speak for themselves over the series.Couturier actually finishes the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs as the leader in points per game average, Couturier averaged 1.80 points per game to take the stop spot, ahead of the Penguins Sidney Crosby and Jake Guentzel who both averaged 1.75 points per game. Big stick tap for Couturier and we really cant't wait to see what he brings next year.
