Despite issues on and off the ice, the team has been able to focus and under the great leadership of head coach John Tortorella, make a serious push for the playoffs.
Philadelphia has seven games left this season in which every game counts since they currently sit in the last wild card spot as of this morning, only two points ahead of the Red Wings that have a game in hand. The Flyers have some very winnable games to close out the season as they will have to face the Islanders, Sabres, Blue Jackets, Canadiens, Rangers, Devils and Flyers.
These last seven games are so crucial with the Red Wings sitting only two points behind with a game in hand which will make every game count. The Islanders are also a threat as they are only five points behind them with two less games played and the Devils six points behind with one more game to play.
