The Philadelphia Flyers and general manager Chuck Fletcher clearly need to make some changes this offseason. The team missed out on the playoffs and while some point to their condensed schedule because of the COVID outbreak, the team just isn't built to be a contender. Of course one of the biggest holes is on the blue line but the team has struggles to score goals when it counts. There will be a couple of band aid options available but there's also a franchise type player available and according to one NHL insider there's a chance he could join the Flyers. During his recent article for The Athletic, NHL insider Pierre LeBrun labelled the Philadelphia Flyers as one of Jack Eichel's likely landing spots along with the Los Angeles Kings, Minnesota Wild, Anaheim Ducks, Columbus Blue Jackets and New York Rangers. LeBrun adds that conversations are happening right now between the Sabres and the interested teams and we could even have a trade before the end of the playoffs. The 24 year old has five years and $50million left on his contract so there would definitely need to be some salary headed the other way. Do you think Eichel could be the player to turn around the Flyers' woes?
