Top NHL Insider Says Claude Giroux Getting Traded.

The Philadelphia Flyers dropped another one on the weekend, this time 3-2 to the New York Rangers. That's 7 losses in a row now and the team is 2-5-3 in their last 10 games sitting 13 points out of the second Wild Card spot. It seems inevitable that we're going to see some major roster changes and see general manager Chuck Fletcher move some big names before the trade deadline. A name we've heard talked about a lot is captain Claude Giroux. We've heard some chatter he'll be moved and now one of the top NHL insiders is pretty much guaranteeing Giroux gets dealt before the deadline. During a recent appearance on the Jeff Marek Show, NHL insider Elliotte Friedman said Giroux will be on the move. "They are gonna ask really hard questions about where they are going and what they are gonna do and I think Philly is gonna be really interesting to watch," Friedman said. "I think there will be a discussion if there hasn't been already. It is my personal opinion that he is traded and they ask him where he wants to go. Look the guy has earned his right to call his shot, he's earned the right to chase the cup if he wants to. He's been a great Flyer and he's done everything they could have ever asked him to do and he cares a lot."It really sounds like Giroux's time in Philly is coming to an end.
