Tony DeAngelo is currently facing a difficult situation in the NHL as a trade to send him back to Carolina has been halted.
On top of that, he is dealing with the loss of his beloved grandfather, whom he affectionately referred to as "Seeds".
RIP seeds. I'm glad I got to be next to you on your final day. So many memories we had together, will never forget any of them. Sorry you had to go through your final years in such a bad way. I'll miss you but I know your back with jojo now like you wanted to be. Say hello for us. Love you seeds. See you again
