Flyers star Travis Konecny met with the media following their elimination from playoff contention, talking about his personal season and how it feels to miss the playoffs.
Konecny mentioned how he felt that the team missing the playoffs was not only due to the 8 game losing streak, everyone just singles out that part of the year because it was multiple game in a row. He thinks the team had such a great year because they are tightly knit group that works very hard which is why they were able to surpass expectations. The star forward was also asked about his season to which he said he was happy with how it went for himself but it was hard in the moment to really give it any thought to it after such a heartbreaking loss.

Konecny ended the season with a career high in goals with 33 and a high in points with 68 which he did in 76 games this season.
