After several weeks of waiting it appears that Flyers defenceman Jamie Drysdale and Nick Seeler are preparing to be back in the lineup in the very near future.
Jamey Baskow mentioned that both players were at practice today and in full uniform. This is great news for the Flyers as they need both these players to help them secure a playoff spot as their beleaguered defence score has been riddled with injuries and having a tough time defending.
Seeler, who was recently re signed by the Flyers for a four year $10.8 million deal he's itching to get back into the lineup as it's quite possible the Flyers will taste playoff hockey. The 30 year old has had a great season this year as he has adopted well to Tortorella's system.
Drysdale, has integrated well to the Flyers after coming over in a trade from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for Cutter Gauthier. If both ready it would be a simple matter of removing them off IR and inserting them into the lineup. Their timing couldn't be better.
The Flyers are playing the Rangers this evening and are currently up 2-0 in the second.
