"The Philadelphia Flyers won't be playing tonight and even if they were their lineup is hurting right now because of COVID. It's hurting because of injuries as well. One player the team could definitely use back if they have any hope of making the playoffs is forward Sean Couturier. Couturier hasn't played since December 18 against the Ottawa Senators and unfortunately it doesn't seem like his return is on the horizon. Mike Yeo commented on the forward's status and like Ryan Ellis, he's struggling to have consecutive good days. ""Don't expect Sean Couturier to play this week. He's had good days, some bad days. Wasn't feeling great today when I spoke to him. We're hoping he'll be making more progress by the end of the week, and then we can reassess.""When on the ice he's been his productive self on both sides of the ice and has 17 points in 29 games so far this season.
Yeo: Don't expect Sean Couturier to play this week. He's had good days, some bad days. Wasn't feeling great today when Yeo spoke to him. They're hoping he'll be making more progress by the end of the week, and then they can reassess.
