The Philadelphia Flyers took an absolute beating last night at the hands of the New York Rangers 9-0. It was arguably one of the worst games the Flyers have played in the last 10 years and that's saying a lot considering the losing streaks under former head coach Dave Hakstol. Last night was totally unacceptable and it came after head coach Alain Vigneault decided to almost shuffle his whole lineup. It didn't sound like AV was taking most of the blame though. "There was not much to say. It was a question of pride and good leadership, and we'll move on from there."
"We couldn't defend and we couldn't make a play. I am truly embarrassed."
"Nothing about this game was any good. We're gonna throw it out, and get ready for the next one."Does AV think the Flyers can bounce back tonight against the New York Islanders?"We'll find out"
What do you think of AV's comments?
