"It's been something that's really developed over the last week or so. Philadelphia Flyers center Sean Couturier has been kept away from the faceoff circle for a couple of games. Not normal for a guy who's won 50% of his faceoffs during his career and 57% last year. Flyers head coach Alain Vigneault revealed to reporters on Monday that Couturier has been dealing with an injury. Vigneault stated that Couturier is dealing with a shoulder strain and needs about another week before he can take the majority of faceoffs again.
Couturier's issue is a shoulder strain, per AV. He needs about another week before he can take frequent faceoffs again.
