Wayne Simmonds signed a one day contract today so that he can retire as a Flyer.
The fan favorite Flyer was asked by reporters about his comments regarding how he put his body through hell when playing with the Flyers. Simmonds admitted that it may have cut his career short but that he wouldn't have it any other way. Wayne Simmonds' body went through hell because of the way he played in Philadelphia.
