It seems as though Lightning's captain Steven Stamkos might be wearing a different jersey next season as his contract is coming to an end and no deal has materialized so far.

Is this the end of an era? 👀 Steven Stamkos could be leaving Tampa Bay this off-season. Where do you think the Lightning legend will end up?

Stamkos is now 34 years old and is not the player he once was but still remains very productive with 78 points in 77 games this season.
If he does hit the market this summer, he will surely have a long list of offers as he can be an asset on any team, regardless of his age.
Lightning GM Julien Brisebois has said that he wants Stamkos to stay with the Lightning but as we approach the off-season without an extension done, it is hard to not think that Stamkos may land elsewhere.
