Flyers forward Joel Farabee suffers what appears to be a head injury against the Hurricanes. In the 2nd period in tonight's game, a puck hit Joel directly in the head and he immediately went down. He was down for several minutes until he was able to get up on his own, however he immediately went to the locker room for further evaluation.

Joel Farabee took Scott Laughton's shot directly to the head.

Please be okay, Joel 🙏
Obviously, we don't want to speculate on the severity of the injury, however it does appear the puck did deflect off of Evgeny Kuznetsov stick prior to hitting Joel in the head. Joel is really starting to play well as he has 3 goals in the last 5 games, so any miss time will hurt the team, however what is most important, is that he is ok and makes a full recovery.
