The Philadelphia Flyers season has ended, and there is sure to be offseason moves. One of the moves that seems inevitable is Cam Atkinson leaving Philadelphia. Per, Jonathan Bailey, "looked and sounded miserable at his exit interview."
Atkinson has one year left on his contract with a $5.875 million cap hit, however it seems like he is ready to move on from Philadelphia. Atkinson struggled mightily throughout the season which caused him to be a healthy scratch 12 times this year and he ended the season on a 23-game pointless drought. Atkinson could be a potential contract buy out. Whether he is traded or bought out, it does not seem like Atkinson is here to stay in Philadelphia.Source: NHL Trade RUMORS
