Jakub Voracek was loved as a player and person by teammates

Former Philadelphia Flyer Jakub Voracek has recently retired, as he battled injuries the last couple of years.
Per Jordan Hall, When Jakub Voracek contemplated retirement a couple of years ago, he spoke to another former Flyer Kevin Hayes, who had this to say about Jakub Voracek :
"We hit it off pretty well," Hayes said. "Sat next to each other on the plane. He's a funny, funny, outgoing person. He made my transition here a lot easier. Would go to his house after games. It was a lot of fun to play with him. Jakey was a great teammate; he was very honest and a very loyal person. I appreciated that from him."
Jakub Voracek was clearly liked by his teammates and quickly, a player like Kevin Hayes who did not know much about Jakub Voracek when he joined the team, and then they became so close, that Hayes invited Jakub Voracek to his wedding.
Also, James van Riemsdyk spoke about Jakub Voracek, and he stated :
"That's a different type of toughness I feel like," James van Riemsdyk said. "There's the openness of fighting and things like that or other ways to play tough, but part of it is being there for every practice, being there for every game, being reliable. That's a totally different type of toughness and it maybe goes underappreciated. You can always rely on him to be out there for practice, play in all the games."
James van Riemsdyk stated how hard Jakub Voracek worked on the ice, attending every practice and game, working through every injury. It was clear, that Jakub Voracek wanted to be known as a winner. We know that Jakub Voracek is a great person and player confirmed by his former teammates.
