The Philadelphia Flyers offseason is set to begin with rumors already swirling. Per, Anthony Di Marco, the Flyers have interest in Ottawa Senators defenseman Jakob Chychrun. Jakob Chychrun is entering his final year of his contract with the Senators, and it does not appear he wants to resign, so a trade this offseason seems likely.
It has been noted that the Flyers would like to add a defenseman to pair with Jamie Drysdale, particularly a left-handed defenseman. The Flyers would most likely want to resign Jakob Chychrun which would potentially mean a bigger haul for the Senators.
This past season, Jakob Chychrun played in all 82 games and scored 14 goals with a total of 41 points. With Jakob Chychrun only being 26, it may be worth it for the Flyers to trade for him even during a rebuild.
