Calgary Flames forward Martin Pospisil has been suspended three games for his hit on Vince Dunn during Monday night's game between the Seattle Kraken and the Calgary Flames. The hit drove Vince Dunn into the boards, which caused him to miss the remainder of that game and he also missed the Kraken's game on Tuesday night.
Calgary's Martin Pospisil has been suspended for three games for boarding Seattle's Vince Dunn.
After the game, Seattle Kraken Head coach, Dave Hakstol called the hit "garbage."
Martin Pospisil does not have a history of suspensions as this is his first suspension of his NHL career, however he was ejected from a game on February 6 of this year, for a cross-check to Bruins forward Brad Marchand. One thing is known is that the NHL wants to crack down on illegal hits and hits like these are unacceptable.
