Former Penguins 1st rounder dies suddenly

It has been revealed this evening that former Pittsburgh Penguins right winger Konstantin Koltsov died today at the young age of 42 years old. This sad and tragic news has gripped the hockey world as news broken on X.

He was selected by the Penguins in 1999, 1st round 18th overall. He had a long hockey career that spanned mostly with the KHL and was with the Penguins for three years. During the 2003-04 season, Koltsov played all 82 games, scoring nine goals, with 20 assists for 29 points with 30 penalty mins.
There has been no word on the immediate cause of death. It was stated that he was in Miami at the time and he was currently dating professional tennis player Aryna Sabalenka while at the Miami Open.
