The Philadelphia Flyers are unfortunately on a bad streak when it comes to their performance he second half of the current season. Fans are wondering whether or not they can pull through and finish the season in better standings, or if this trend will continue.
The Flyers currently sitting at 34 wins and 26 losses across 68 games played. They are in third place among the Metropolitan division. With their majority losses in most recent games, the Flyers lost against the Bruins on Saturday 6-5, making somewhat of a comeback during the third period but ultimately losing their traction in the end. The game before that, they lost against the Maple Leafs a whopping 6-2 on Thursday the 14th. They did win their game against San Jose by 1 goal (3-2), but the pattern goes right back to a loss considering their big 7-0 loss against Tampa only a couple of days before.
As the Flyers seem to be in a rough spot lately, they are projected to have a decent chance of getting a spot in the playoffs, their actual time spent there can not be confidently said to be high. Hopefully they can turn things around and come out on top. Flyers' captain Couturier had this to say on the matter;
